MESOTHERAPY
INSTRUCTIONAL
TEXT AND DVD

Mesotherapy is considered mainstream medicine in France and has been incorporated as an integral treatment in the specialty of sports medicine and pain management there as well as in other countries around the world. Mesotherapy as practiced in its birthplace can be a valuable tool in the treatment of headache, fractures, neuralgias, tendonitis, back pain, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia syndrome, and acute injury. Mesotherapy’s cosmetic applications, primarily for the treatment of cellulite, are widely popular and available in Europe and are currently exploding in the U.S. Dr. Adelson speaks French and has studied with the current and past 3 presidents of the French Society of Mesotherapy and has presented in France per the French Society’s invitation.

Prolotherapy, also know as Regenerative Injection Therapy (RIT), involves the injection of local anesthetics and hypertonic, natural substances directly into the site of soft tissue musculoskeletal injury or degeneration. This subsequently triggers the body’s own natural healing response that actually regenerates normal connective tissue, restores function, and significantly reduces pain. Savvy and motivated health-care consumers are currently swarming to find prolotherapy practitioners.

Neural Therapy, developed in Germany, is essentially non-radiographically guided regional anesthesia using nutrients in addition to local anesthetics. Corticosteroids can temporarily eliminate pain, but by the same mechanism they disallow for normal tissue healing to occur. By using certain nutrients with local anesthetics, neural therapy nourishes nerve tissue in an attempt to cure neuralgias and headaches.

Intravenous Micronutrient Therapy (IVMT), as the name implies, is the administration of mega-doses of micronutrients intravenously. IVMT has a history of use for a range of conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome and is currently being investigated as a treatment for fibromyalgia syndrome (Dr. Adelson wrote the proposal which was funded by NIH). IVMT can be used additionally to boost immunity and optimize performance. IVMT is painless and extremely safe.
